The American Public Transportation Association (APTA) is a nonprofit advocating for public transportation in the U.S. Founded in 1882, APTA represents all transit modes, works with stakeholders, and provides research and professional development. Facing threats to federal funding, APTA partnered with my team at DDC Public Affairs to create Voices for Public Transit (VPT), a grassroots community promoting the value of public transportation and funding. VPT representing every congressional district has helped secure the largest funding increase in the 2015 FAST Act and continues to drive investment with nearly 250,000 members.
My role with this client was to unify the brand identity and system for consistent campaign materials. This involved designing visual elements and graphics to effectively convey this campaign’s message while aligning with the brand’s identity and objectives.
