Client: Voices for Public Transit / American Public Transportation Association (via DDC Public Affairs)
Role: Graphic and Motion Designer
Responsibilities: Collaborative Campaign Design, Digital and Print Production, Visual Systems
Overview:
While at DDC Public Affairs, I collaborated with the creative team to support Voices for Public Transit (VPT), an initiative connected with the American Public Transportation Association (APTA). In response to threats regarding federal funding for transit, our team developed a grassroots campaign to articulate the value of public transportation to diverse audiences and stakeholders across the United States.
Deliverables:
- Campaign identity and graphic system (Team Collaboration)
- Digital graphics for web and social media
- Print materials and informational visuals
- Outreach and promotional assets
Design Approach:
Working alongside art directors and communication specialists, I contributed to a unified visual language designed to make advocacy messaging highly accessible. My focus was on executing and maintaining a structured graphic system across multiple channels, placing strong emphasis on readable typography, clear informational hierarchy, and consistent branding to balance organization with visual engagement.
Result:
Through a coordinated team effort, the comprehensive campaign assets were successfully rolled out across digital, print, and outreach channels. This consistent, cross-functional approach helped VPT maintain a highly professional and recognizable presence, effectively supporting their broader advocacy goals and driving deeper engagement with community stakeholders.
